This is the humble abode of The Jackalope (they/them/any), a nerd who makes YouTube videos about various things, mainly retro tech, TV, and video games.
JBC is the framing device of my YouTube channel. Most YouTube channels are centered entirely on one specific topic, which shan't do for me as I have way too many ADHD hyperfixations to count. So I figured I would style my channel as a "TV channel" with a number of different "shows", each representing a special interest of mine! For the complete lineup of shows, check out JBC On Demand.
Anyways, this site is mostly an extension of my channel, but I will nonetheless update it with new content on roughly the same schedule as I upload videos: whenever I feel like it lmao. The name "JBC Alive" is a reference the naming conventions of some TV stations from the '80s to '90s, specifically WPIX New York's "11 Alive" moniker.
